Future Plus to produce Odeon magazine

LONDON - Future Plus has won a contract to publish a new film magazine for Odeon, the UK's largest cinema chain.

The title, called Odeon Magazine, will have a print run of 190,000 copies, and the first issue will be available across Odeon's 100-plus cinemas this month.

The 36-page magazine will feature film news, previews, reviews and interviews with film stars. Future’s London-based sales team will be responsible for selling advertising space in the title.

Separately, the contract publisher's parent company, Future, has issued a pre-close trading update ahead of its results for the year ending 30 September. It said that revenues “have continued in line with board expectations” which should be at the "top end of current market expectations".

Future will announce its preliminary results 28 November 2007.
