'I Am Legend' debuts at top of US chart
I Am Legend has debuted at the top of the US box office chart, pushing last week's number one The Golden Compass into third place.


There were other new entries in the top ten for Alvin and the Chipmunks at number two, and The Perfect Holiday in sixth place.

Elsewhere in the chart Enchanted slipped two places to fourth position and Fred Claus dropped to number eight.
