Primesight sees strong start for Vuetooth

LONDON - Outdoor contractor Primesight has seen strong demand for its new Vuetooth concept - just weeks after its introduction at Vue cinemas.

Vuetooth allows moviegoers to download content from ad sites in 55 cinema foyers nationwide. The solution is designed to compliment existing six-sheet ad panels and offers advertisers the chance to include consumer interactivity in their campaigns.

The most recent client to benefit was the Royal Air Force with the COI whose campaign, which ran in 10 regional cinemas, included a video clip of RAF servicemen in action. It was downloaded 22,700 times over one two week period.

The Bluetooth technology is such that only one unit is needed to cover an entire foyer so each poster can offer downloads, such as games, video or ringtones.
